Ibiza is one of the favorite destinations to enjoy beautiful natural paradises and paradisiacal beaches without having to travel to another country. One of the many advantages of this island is the number of hidden coves that few know. Its coast has nothing to envy to the beaches of the Caribbean Sea. If you want to meet her, you just have to dare!

For many, Cala Llentrisca is considered the most isolated cove in Ibiza. Its name is due to the rock that rises next to it (Cap Llentrisca), which separates the west coast of the island from the south coast. It is a little emerald water cove accompanied by a beautiful environment. It is one of the virgin beaches of the island, so it is wonderful to be able to enjoy even the whole of it for yourself on some occasions. To emphasize its character as a natural paradise, it does not have catering services or any other type, so it is necessary to bring your own food if you intend to spend the day there.

It has approximate dimensions of 75 meters in length and 15 meters in width. Its surface is a mixture of sand and pebble stones, which means that only the bravest are those who dare to enjoy a good swim in one of the beaches with the clearest waters of the whole island.

This cove has become “famous” among fishermen looking for calm waters. For this reason, it has some boathouses in which the fishermen keep their llaüts, that is, the typical boats of the Balearic Islands. Although access to it is complicated, the practice of fishing was common until not long ago.

To travel to this beach, we recommend that you do it in the morning, since from midday the cliffs cover most of its shaded waters. The best way to access it is to take the road to Es Cubells, since this cove is at the end of its bay. But not all the stretch can be done by car, but the charm of it being a hidden paradise makes that, at one point, we have to take a path for access. This path lasts just over half a kilometer to the cove, but it is a bit difficult to travel, only suitable for daring people!

If you are an athlete spirit, on this beach you can enjoy a good snorkeling session and appreciate the unique posidonia of the seabed. Its crystal clear waters make Cala Llentrisca one of the favorite places for scuba divers and divers.

However, this is not the only secret beach that our beloved Ibiza keeps. In the natural reserve of Cala d’Hort, we find Atlantis, a heavenly place suitable only for people with good physical shape, since to reach its natural pools and its crystalline waters we must descend a steep dune. In times of strong waves, we must be cautious.

What are you waiting for to know the most hidden natural corners of Ibiza?
