It’s true that Ibiza is the cradle of partying worldwide… but that’s not the only thing that makes the island an incredible place. Its beaches, its sunsets… make Ibiza a magical place, perfect for traveling as a couple. In this post we suggest a list of 8 very unique places you can visit in Ibiza in the company of your loved one.

1. Its endless beaches

There are plenty of beaches in Ibiza that are beautiful for enjoying them as a couple. Basically all of the island’s coves have their own charm, but, in this post we strongly recommend the following: Cove Tarida (nicknamed “romantic cove”), Cove Bassa, Aigües Blanques, Cove Salada and Cove Saladeta.

2. The wonderful views from Es Vedrà

This islet is tremendously known, therefore there is no doubt that its powerful appeal and unique silhouette make it a special and perfect place. This place is recommended for virtually any time of the day, although, we must admit that sunset is a key moment. If you’re left wanting more, you can go up to the Tower des Savinar so as to have a better view of this islet. That being said, you’ll have to walk uphill, but it’ll definitely be worth it.

3. Dalt Vila, Ibiza’s historic city centre

A walk through the whitewashed and narrow streets of Dalt Vila, Ibiza’s historic city centre, is a very pleasant experience for those in love. Each corner breathes history and each bend holds a surprise. The impressive walls, the spectacular views behind every bastion and the atmosphere itself will not leave you indifferent.

4. Es Paller d’en Camp

Located between the beaches of Es Figueral and Aigües Blanques, Es Paller d’en Camp draws itself above the intense blue characteristic of the Mediterranean Sea. You’ll be able to enjoy from here a marvelous panoramic view of the sea and Tagomago island. The best time to visit it? In the morning so that you’re able to soak up the landscape with the light of day.

5. Es Portixol

This is an Ibizan cove that resembles a lake, totally hidden, the typical representation of a dreamy beach, protected from the wind and surrounded by nature. It’s ideal for the most romantic people given its difficult access, meaning it’s not very crowded and suitable for the most adventurous lovers.

6. Santa Gertrudis

This small town has earned its place amongst this selection of the island’s most romantic places. The white facade of the municipality’s church, the fantastic and varied gastronomic offer and its pedestrian centre make it a most recommended visit.

7. Santa Eulalia

Santa Eulalia has a lot of charm. You can walk alongside the only river up to the emblematic Pont Vell, go up to the Puig de Missa, Santa Eulalia’s church, fine example of Ibiza’s architecture, or leisurely stroll along its lengthy promenade.

8. Travel to Formentera

It’s basically a mandatory visit on your getaway to Ibiza. Formentera stands out for its white, sandy beaches and crystal clear waters, the perfect plan in order to disconnect as you lay in the sun with your partner. We recommend Aquabus’ ferries to reach the island, there’s a great variety of schedules and, as always, at the best price.
Are you ready for your romantic getaway?
